NanhiPari 2007 from 6th to 8th April’07
Nanhipari, the little Miss India contest started in the year 2001. Within a shortspan of six years this function has reached great heights. Since last two years this function is being held in the beautiful campus of KIIT and has become a national event. Nanhipari function started on 6th April and the closing ceremony will be on 8th April. The participants underwent eight rounds like Health, Written test, Art competition, Group Discussion, Thematic appreciation round etc.
This year their were 220 entries in total out of which ten participants were from Orissa. Forty semifinalists were short listed and after all the rounds, ten finalist were selected who are from different states of India.
The jury members for all the rounds were Mr. Sayeed Aftab Ali, Sudhanshu Jena, Sarda Lahangi, Ashutosh Mishra, Soumya Kashyap & Ambujh Satpathy, field producer & Editor of Kadambini Itirani Samant, Executive Editor Dharitri Adyasa Satpathy, Odisi Dancer & Artist Aruna Mohanty, Veteran actor Uttam Mohanty.
Bollywood Star present on the three days were Cine Star Amrita Arora, Jimmy Shergil, Sunil Pal, Sridevi , Bony Kapoor, Mahima Choudhury, Neha Dhupia & Chunky Pandey.
Other esteemed guest present in three days were IAS Dr. Arun Ku. Panda, President KIIT Mrs. Saswati Bala, MD Crackers India Mrs. Suchi Sahoo, Mine Owner & Industrialist Mr. Probodh Mahanty.

Miss Preet Kumari from Jharkhand was the Little Miss India, NanhiPari 2007. She received cash award of Rs. 50,000/- and other gift hampers. Miss Daisy Sarkar from West Bengal and Miss Juby Yogi from Kerala were the 1st and 2nd runners up. They received cash award of Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- respectively along with gift hampers.
